As part of TKI Group’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships and supporting community initiatives, representatives from the TKI Head Office paid a courtesy visit to the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
During the meeting, the team had the opportunity to meet with Philippine Consul General Ambrocio Brian Enciso and Vice Consul General Jim Jimeno. The discussion served as an opportunity to introduce TKI Group, present the company’s portfolio of Japanese restaurant brands across the UAE, and share its vision of contributing to charitable initiatives that support communities in the Philippines.
The TKI team also presented a selection of CK products as a gesture of appreciation to the Consulate officials. The gifts were warmly received, with the Consulate expressing their gratitude for the thoughtful selection and generous variety of products. They also shared that the items would be distributed among different departments within the Consulate, including the Migrant Workers Office (MWO).
One of the key topics discussed was TKI Group’s intention to support charitable causes in the Philippines. The Consulate recommended coordinating directly with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through its official donation platform, allowing donors to identify beneficiaries and provide financial or in-kind assistance. They also suggested partnering with established and reputable organizations with existing charitable networks to help ensure that donations effectively reach communities in need.
The meeting also included a discussion on the potential of grape cultivation in the Philippines. The Consulate shared valuable insights regarding the country’s tropical climate, emphasizing the importance of selecting suitable locations with good sunlight, proper elevation, and adequate air circulation to minimize disease risks and support successful grape production.
To strengthen future collaboration, Vice Consul General Jim Jimeno encouraged TKI Group to maintain close communication with the Philippine Consulate for any future inquiries, assistance, or partnership opportunities.
This meeting reflects TKI Group’s continued commitment to fostering strong relationships with government institutions while exploring meaningful initiatives that create a positive impact both within the UAE and in the Philippines.
